Mikau simply wrote something down on a piece of paper, shunpo'd over to AI, and then to the door, unlocking it, he handed the paper to AI, sent her out the door, and locked it again

ai snatched the phone. "mommy?" she asked. "mikau and me were talking about how you and daddy are gonna get back together but you can't with ihim then he started tosay something and won't tell me, what was he gonna say?" she asked. she listened for a moment, quiet. she sat where aura had before and hugged her knees. she hung up the phone and set it beside her, burying her face in her legs.

"Well, there's obviously something wrong, or you wouldn't be crying now would you?"
Mikau smiled as he moved close to AI, wiping some of her Tear away.
"Listen, AI, i have to let you know something, just because you're sad because your mom and dad aren't together, doesn't mean you should stay sad."
Mikau looked at the wall in front of him
"To tell the truth, i never really knew my parents, i was raised by my older brother..."
he looked at AI,
"i know you have an older brother, he's a top noch guys, but i never knew y parents, so i really can't know how you feel right now...."
Mikau started to look sad
"3 years ago, my brother went missing, i haven't seen him, nor has anyone seen him in that amount of time, and 11 months later they found his body, he was dead, when i found out this, i cried for 3 weeks straight, he was the only family i knew, and well, i miss him to this day, but i know something...."
He smiled and cried at the same time
"One day, when i die, i'll get to see my brother, and until that that comes, i have to pray and hope he remains safe wherever he is..."
He looked back up at the Ceiling
"Do you know why i'm dating your mother, it's not because it makes you mad, but...."
he looked again at AI
"It's because she makes me happy, she reminds me of my brother in so many ways, she is always protecting you, just like my brother did for me."
Mikau got up and walked off to his barracks
"It's getting pretty late, you should probably get home soon AI"
he said as he walked off to the Barrakcs

[I think that since Ai and Shiro are twins, they should have the same zanpakto spirit. In the 3rd phantom, the twins on there have the same spirit but different forms.
